I have been receiving regular care (urgent as well as routine) for three years. All staff are welcoming, professional and competent, and they know who I am and what my long term dental needs are. I highly recommend this group.

If you are a new patient good luck trying to get their new patient coordinator to call you back. On day two I called the office back to see if someone would be calling me to get me setup for an appointment and then I was guaranteed someone would be calling me by the end of the day. That never happened so I figured they are not interested in new business. I called another dental provider that was in my network and in the Hyde park area. They took my information immediately and I have an appointment this week. Take notes University Dental.. very odd to have to wait days to get someone to even discuss appointment options. I can only imagine how their service is if they can’t even get intake appointments right.

I've truly wasted my time and money (so much money) on this place and I hope this review helps others not to make the same mistake. This is a disorganized, unprofessional, and borderline useless excuse for a dentist's office. 1. According to my new dentist, all the fillings I received from UDP are leaking and will need to be replaced. 2. The UDP payment system is outdated & unreliable. No clear answers on out of pocket costs vs insurance coverage. I was told to pay upfront and that insurance would reimburse me directly later on (huge mistake). Insurance sent my refund to UDP, whom I had to contact to receive my refund. But without my knowledge, part of that refund had already been used to pay for a previous appointment of mine and part of the refund was taken by UDP for reasons they could not explain. 3.
