Valley Endodontics & Oral Surgery

I had a consult on Wednesday and surgery on Friday. Dr. Schenkman pulled my top back molar without needing to put me under so I could drive myself. The procedure was quick and painless. When I wasn't quite numb (I felt my gums before we started), I let him know and he took my concerns seriously. I've had dentists in the past that didn't, so this was a huge plus. Everyone was friendly. All charges were explained in detail, including what each procedure meant in plain words. They were willing to change the original pain medication as I had concerns about the first one prescribed. My only "complaint" is that I would have preferred nitrous, but they couldn't offer it on that day. As a side note, I overheard the front desk offer forms in Spanish to another patient.

Absolutely hands down the best oral surgeon I’ve been to! I love this office and all the staff! I needed to have a lesion on my cheek removed- already waited 2 months for a different oral surgeons office to get this removed, but I called this office and they were able to squeeze me into a cancellation appt and removed the lesion on the same day- they were so helpful and so kind! Even though my insurance didn’t cover the procedure, they still had a very very reasonable out of pocket cost! I am very happy my dentist referred them to me! I highly highly recommend to anyone needing an oral surgeon!

I have incredibly good insurance that covers 100% of $4000 dollars of work per year regardless of network.I needed work done and when I called a girl named alley answered the phone. At first she wouldn't book my appointment because "she had never heard of my insurance". After arguing with her I sent her both of my insurance cards and was told she would call to check and make sure it was real. After waiting 2 days I called back to see if she had called and she told me she had lost the email and that hadn't called and asked me to send it again. After sending it again and giving her explicit instructions to call the number on the back she refused to do her job the to call them. I canceled my appointment because I can go LITTERALLY ANYWHERE and if that's how they treat their customers right off the start I refuse to give them my business. She needs to be fired or reprimanded because apparently she knows more then anyone who calls and is lazy.
