So I rarely write reviews. Unless they’re positive. So it’s taken me months of going back and forth and trying to take the higher road. Here’s the deal these practitioners take an oath to ethically take our care and needs seriously. Tooth pain and care is serious, it’s an emotional roller coaster financially and physically. If you’re In pain you’ll spend a ton of money to be out of pain. You’d hope the office would be empathetic and professional. After a routine root canal retreat failed it was like I didn’t exist. Like sorry about your luck. The dentist literally said if it didn’t work I’d only be responsible for a portion which I have recorded, I’ve since written the bbb I’ve since retained an attorney. Not for the money but because people shouldn’t feel like this is ok. Not to mention a half a dozen calls with no return, If the dentist hasn’t been able to help treat your pain then you should not be held responsible. I was fortunate to have worked alongside Dr. Shaw at the VA for the last four years. As a general dentist needing to refer my patients to a root canal specialist, I had complete confidence they would be treated with compassion at the skilled hands of Dr. Shaw. Dr. Shaw provided honest diagnoses and talked my patients through the process of a root canal. He kept up on the latest technology to provide the best standard of care for patients using equipment such as cone beam radiograph (3D x-ray machine) to visualize the anatomy of each tooth and then using a cutting edge microscope to perform the root canal. Dr. Shaw’s professionalism and excellent reputation (at the VA for 9 years and in private practice for 20+ years prior) are reasons I knew my patients would receive the best care. My only regret is that if I ever need a root canal, I will need to travel to Arizona to have him do it.

My husband and I have been waiting since February for a refund. We keep getting the run around from Claudia, the office manager. She said check was mailed during a phone call on 6/22 and was supposed to get back with us to see if it was cashed, never did. I called today and everyone is out. Stephanie couldn’t help me at all. Do not go to places where office management doesn’t even know what’s going on with accounts.
