Yale-New Haven Hospital's Pediatric Dental Center

The dentists are okay, but the front desk staff is absolutely terrible. When I first started going, one staff recommended I go to another dental office as it could be faster. I wish I had taken her advice. I’ve seen one particular staff member (late 40s, dark curly hair, Hispanic), blatantly lie to patients, ignore patients, and disregard concerns. I listened as she lied and told a patient over the phone that the office was packed and there wasn’t a seat left in the waiting room - from the waiting room where I was the only one present. She was more concerned about her spilled coffee than she was with getting patients checked in. And learn from my mistake: if she incorrectly says something about your file/case, be cautious bc if you try to correct her she’ll just cut you off and say, ‘I wasn’t talking to you.’ If you want decent dental care, yale providers will suffice. But the office staff at long wharfs adult dental office are so bad that it will eventually interfere with you getting

Avoid any of yale new haven dentistry offices. DENTURES WERE SENT OUT FOR HARD RELINE, WRONG TEETH RETURNED, NO WHERE CLOSE TO PREVIOUS TEETH, MD AGREED TEETH DID NOT MATCH

I have left 4 messages between the reception and OR booking. No one has gotten back to me. We were seen Nov 1st, its now Jan 4th. This place clearly does not care about children and should probably be investigated by the state for poor practice. Overhaul it or shut it down. UPDATE: Its Feb 9th after hearing NOTHING!! from these people since my November appt the OR scheduler who I had left two or 3 messages for calls me talking about “ I have an OR appointment for your child”….. its been MONTHS you think I'm still waiting on you!?! My kids are being seen by someone who actually cares about there well being!
