1st Advantage Dental - Colonie

Everything was good for years until this happened I had an appointment and a day before I received a call from Christine or Christina for confirmation. After few hours she called me again and ask me to cancel the appointment and told me that my hygienist is not available for next two months. I made this appointment 6 months ago. She is very unprofessional and rude. She has no customer service skills and she shouldn't be on the job to deal with customers. I will contact with the managers. She wasted my time that I reserved for dental appointment.

6 mos ago I would of given them a 5 star .. I say that because I have been going to this dentist for over 20yrs … Dr Mandava is a great doctor … I had an appt was on time didn’t get in until 10mins later .. Dental hygienist did X-rays then told me I had to make another appt because she had to see her next client …. Didn’t quit understand why if I was on time .. so am waiting 10 - 15mins for her to reschedule me I then told her to call me when you have a date and time so I left. … I call 1month later still no appt .. called 2 months later no appt .. so I went in the office to speak to to Dr to see why I haven’t been rescheduled yet … They told me he was with an patient so I said I will wait … the office assistant told to wait out side of the office I said no I will wait here .. she then told me if I didn’t leave she was going to call the cops on me … I stay and got to the Doctor but then the office assistant came in as I was talking to him and keep cutting me off as am talking ..

I moved to Dr. Mandava after my dentist of 25 years retired. Dr. Mandava is kind, gentle, and trustworthy. Also of note is the extreme professionalism of Heather, my Dental Hygienist. I have sensitive teeth so cleanings hurt, but Heather is gentle and thorough. Additionally, she is professional and warm. I highly recommend Dr. Mandava and Heather for all your dental needs.
