$500 for a routine pediatric cleaning with no complications, not even x-Ray is simply outrageous.

Stay away with Dr. Sara. stay away with this practice. Sara is unprofessional, extremally arrogant and rude. She would do more damage to the teeth than save them. Speaking from my horrible experience: My son has to take 3 X-rays few day apart to have one of his teeth removed. According to her, "the situation might change from day to day" as if the cavity would disappear in few days. In the day of the procedure, I asked her if the laughing gas is safe for the child, she turned out so angry and told me to go somewhere else if I do not believe her. It is just a simple question from a nervous parent, what kind of a doctor she is?! The worst thing is the space holder she placed turned out to be too tight, my son kept bleeding and hurting him everyday. He often had headache and restless sleep until the space holder got removed. Dr. Sara denied it completely and blamed that it was my fault to not helping my son clean his teeth properly. Besides of all these, the office has mistake

My advice is to go elsewhere. My children were terrified by Dr. Sara — she needs to learn how to treat small kids and the parents with respect. Kids want to feel welcomed, not threatened by some certified, arrogant dentist. I had other moms and dads having the same horrific experience in the neighborhood and we all ended up going to a different pediatric dentist. It was night and day. Last week, our new pediatric dentist looked at the X-ray work that Dr. Sara did and the new dentist clearly stated that it was not well done (and the way it was done is not standard). The scary part was that Dr. Sara was determined that my 5 year old needed invasive dental work by looking at a blurry X-ray (they apparently don’t have the standard way to do it… instead they take kids inside a room to stand by themselves and take it).
