Coast Dental

I haven’t been to the dentist in a little less than two years. I received a thorough examination and also treatment plan for my oral health which made me happy. Felicia, Dental Assistant, took X-rays and explained the process of my visit. Dr. Ian Carson was smart and gave me several options in order to correct my dental issues. He also answered my questions honestly. My gums were checked by the hygienist and then Felicia explained what the numbers for that check-up meant. I’ve never had so much dental education before. This was a major plus. I was hoping to get my teeth cleaned that day but the manager Brittany patiently and kindly explained their patient flow and practice scheduling and was willing to schedule me for a cleaning the next day. Im really glad I chose this practice.

The office is okay, decent staff, but when we needed them for a follow up emergency to a crown my wife had completed- there was no Dr. on-call for the weekend to follow-up. They have an emergency option on their voice mail - but having called last evening and this morning - we have yet to receive a call back. My wife is in pain - not sure how you can ignore a patient in pain after a procedure completed in your office. We will consider other dental service options going forward.

I would choose no stars but not an option! Do NOT go to this establishment as they are very dishonest. . . I have a major dental emergency that anyone would know required either a root canal or some type of oral surgery by the pain I described to the person taking the appt. I was never told by anyone that they don't provide that service, they only access your condition and take x-rays. Imagine my surprise when after a few moments of poking and prodding the nurse comes in and tells me that I am getting referred to another Dentist!!! I asked for my x-rays since I paid for them and informed me that they wouldn't and they would only send me a digital copy to my email! So I find another Dentist that does the oral surgery and send him the link via email and he informs me that he can not open the file as it has a security attached to the file, so I can see them on my computer, but no one else can! I asked him If he would contact Coast to get them to send a copy of my x-rays and his reply was
