Went in for two appointments. The first I had to cancel because they kept me waiting nearly an hour. The second appointment wasn't as bad but I still had to wait about a half hour. This is extremely frustrating considering there was only one other patient in the back and I was on my lunch hour. When I went to pay afterwards I was told everything was covered by my insurance and nothing else was needed on my end. Fast forward a few months later and I start receiving random invoices with little to no information and voicemails left by an unknown number. Then I start getting invoices for a "missed appointment" that I never made. Every time I call back they play dumb or hang up on me. I just returned Meredith's call but was told she wasn't in the office (despite the fact she called me MINUTES earlier), then I was placed on hold for 10 minutes. A few acquaintances have an similar experiences. I have also read online reviews that echo this. Avoid this place at all costs. There are much better
I have been a patient of Dentex Dental at Liberty Place for 10+ years. Each visit has almost always been excellent. When I've had an issue, Lana, the office mgr, worked hard to resolve it. Dr. Giang(2022) Dr. Allan(2023) both seek to make sure you are comfortable. An excellent experience!
I am writing this review to warn future patients against using dentex as their dentist. Up until recently I went there with no issue and they ran my insurance card. My last visit, they said for some reason I had to pay $510 out of pocket and then that they or my insurance will reimburse me everything except the $30 for fluoride treatment. Two months later I continued to call them and they said they sent a check for the difference they received from the insurance. Two weeks later, I never received a check and only $127 reimbursed on my credit card. I called and they said that is the total I'm responsible for because everything else is either a copay or not a covered service. They did not disclose any of this to me and i explained I will not be coming back as a patient. Do not go here unless you want to be told services will be covered and then they will bill you for it anyway.
