Dentists of Silver Spring

I chose this dentist due to the good reviews on Google. I rarely give reviews and especially bad ones. However, I really just want to give my opinion on what happened in my case and help someone out when they are new to the area and need a dentist. If you don’t do your research and depend on the dentist’s expert knowledge here, you end up in so much pain figuratively and physically. The dentist I had was Chessia Thomas. I came in for a cleaning and they gave exceptional cleanings and recommend their cleanings. However, I do not recommend getting a crown here. After grinding my old teeth to prepare it for the crown, the dentist noticed a crack in my old tooth and in hindsight instead of placing a temporary crown to monitor the crack she put a real crown on. It ended up I was in so much pain I couldn’t work and had to take time off to go and drive back to my old dentist to see what’s going on. In the end my old dentist gave me a root canal and of course that ruined the expensive crown I

As a first time patient here, Sandra at the front desk was very helpful. As well as informative and very welcoming. Dr, Yu was amazing. Very knowledgeable as well as making me feel comfortable. Also helped me come up with a game plan to get back on track with my oral health.

Excellent folks working here. The entire team is professional and thorough. The office is upbeat and friendly. All positive from my perspective.
