I had the pleasure of visiting Essex Endodontics in Montclair, NJ, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of amazing. Dr. Maykov and his staff were truly exceptional in every way possible. From the moment I walked in, the office staff greeted me warmly and made me feel welcome. They were highly efficient and helped me with any questions I had about the appointment and paperwork. The front end nurse was attentive and comforting, which really put my nerves at ease. Dr. Maykov is an absolute expert in his field, and it showed throughout the entire procedure. I had a root canal done approximately a year ago, and although time has passed, I can't forget how smoothly it went. His precision and skill were evident, and he took the time to explain the procedure to me, making sure I was comfortable at all times. The entire experience at Essex Endodontics was top-notch, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of endodontic care. They truly care about their patients' well-being

My doctor was Kenneth P Maykow and he was wonderful. I have a fear of dentists and had to come in for a root canal treatment. He was so nice, funny and professional. I’m not used to doctors being personable and pleasant. These days everyone’s in a rush. But he’s definitely a seasoned gem. I first went in scared and came out feeling like ,” that wasn’t so bad”…Staff was very nice as well . I highly recommend this location and him for services.

Dr. Maykov has the most amazing bedside manner, he is very detailed with his explanation and does not recommend any unnecessary treatment. If he was a general dentist I’d switch dentists in a heartbeat. Ebony was amazing, she was gentle and kind. She was not rough while performing the X-rays, which is usually my biggest complaint anywhere. The front desk person unfortunately i did not catch her name but she was a sweetheart. You can tell she’s a serious person but still so kind and so helpful. I honestly have never had such a pleasant first encounter from beginning to end. The best part is I didn’t need a root canal haha
