Dr Hugh's is an amazing surgeon. I do not do well with dentists, but he made me comfortable and at ease immediately upon speaking with him. This dude is a little quirky, but extremely into his profession. He protrudes happiness, and is definitely passionate about his work. My recovery time, like my surgery, was extremely quick, I'm sure due to his amazing skills. He could tell I was frightened and asked me to go into detail about personal things I had shared on a previous visit a month beforehand, and calmed me down before freezing my arm, and inserting iv into my arm. Like three seconds later, out like a lite. Fifteen minutes later, however I don't remember anything until three hours later, and no pain! Minimal swelling gone the next day. To put it short, he was quick yet gentle. Truly a master of his profession. He is passionate about his work, and it shows.

So I really suck with anxiety and dentists / teeth work. I've had some pretty bad experiences which led to me neglecting the dentist. Recently I've started to better myself, and part of that is working on my teeth. I had to get 3 wisdom teeth and 2 broken molars removed, and I was super nervous about it. I got a recommendation to come here from my dentist to get the teeth removed, after making an appointment, they did the xray and scheduled me out for surgery after insurance approved it. They even bumped me up after they had a cancelation. The day of the surgery comes, and me being a caffeine addict and a chronic smoker, I was having a really hard time, yet the staff was all super helpful and very nice. They helped me with some nausea, probably from caffeine and nicotine withdrawals, and the doctor himself was probably one of the funniest and nicest people I've met. They all made me feel incredibly comfortable, the surgery went well and I don't even remember any of it is the best part

Dr. Hughes removed 3 of my wisdom teeth years ago due to the 4th being to small to removed. He told me to go back once it has grown out to remove it. Fast forward to today, I go in for an X-ray, hours later I get a call that he cannot do this extraction due to it only being a single extraction. It is not fair that he can’t finish his job, and I wasted my time going in for a consultation because his front desk said since I got them removed with him, he can remove the last one. True Lack of communication.
