Cancelled my appointment because the customer service via phone is terrible. The first time I called to schedule my first appointment as a new patient I had to call several times before anyone would pick up the phone and then there was a constant delay and echo so the technician and I were repeating ourselves constantly - a 5 minute phone call took over 20 minutes. Then I had to call six times just to try reschedule my appt because I kept getting hung up on or got the voicemail, when someone did answer there was a delay and echo on every phone call, then I got transferred multiple times and every single person asked for all of my demographic information repetitively, and the final person put me on hold for 10 minutes and when I was finally helped it literally took less than a minute. Dr. Jesse Cardenas explained dental radiographs to me in layman's terms so that I could understand what was going on with my teeth and gums. He made the appropriate referral for the specialized Endodontics that I needed. The entire staff at Gentle Dental conducted themselves in a friendly manner and followed medical protocol.

Wouldn’t recommend this place. Had an appointment to have dents on surface of teeth filled to smooth out tooth. Dentist didn’t even review my chart before appointment and had the tech apply numbing ointment and I asked why and he said to numb the area before drilling a hole into the cavity before adding filling. I asked “what cavity” and then he decided to review my chart and said oh never mind no drilling needed. Also the initial dental exam wasn’t thorough and felt like less than 5 minutes and wasn’t even told if I did have any issues or not after exam. Also got a fat X-ray bill of $94. It’s the patients responsibility to know what’s covered with insurance but was told by multiple receptionists here that everything was covered for the exam appointment before I went ahead and did it. Lastly, had two different appointments moved 30 min after original scheduled time without an explanation or phone call ahead if it was okay.
