Up to date equipment, caring staff, just an all around good experience. Update 4/4/2023 went in for two fillings, the dentist and assistant did an excellent job of making sure i was comfortable about the whole procedure, got two fillings completed within an hour, they are awesome.

I've been a patient or Dr. Guthrie for years. Wednesday evening my 10 year old son broke two front in a bicycling accident. I immediately messaged Dr. Guthrie's office and requested an appointment online, because this was way after business hours. By 7:30am the next morning, Jessica had spoken to Dr. Guthrie and asked us if we could come in asap. She did an exam & x-ray to fully examine the extent of damage. Dr. Guthrie gave us the best course of action and we had his teeth repaired within the day! Dr. Guthrie's team clearly had our best interests at heart and that means the world to us!

James River Family Dentistry is amazing! So happy that my family and I found Dr Guthrie and her amazing staff. For those with dental anxiety they have Coco, an amazingly loving dog, that will calm even the most anxious of patients. All the staff are amazing but I have to give a shout out to Ally. She really connected with my kids and discusses their likes, love of travel and my sons various hockey adventures.
