Modern Endodontics of Buckhead: Richard L Raymond DMD, Root Canal Specialist

I received exceptional service from Dr. Raymond. My dentist found extensive decay under a crown on a back molar. He said the decay was too extensive and would not support a new crown. The tooth would have to be pulled. My wife had been to Dr. Raymond in the past after she hit her mouth in a fall. She was very happy with Dr. Raymond's treatment. She recommended I see him for a second opinion. Dr. Raymond looked at my tooth and told me he has a technique he can use to build up the tooth enough that a crown could be put on. He discussed his plan with my dentist and my dentist agreed. I had to have a root canal, the first I ever had. The root canal and tooth buildup were completely painless. I even dozed off several times as I was a little sleepy anyway. My dentist then successfully put a crown on the tooth. I found Dr. Raymond to be very caring and attentive.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr Raymond and his staff. He explained the reason why do I need root canal and walk me through how the root canal is done and what should I do in the next step. It cleared all my concerns. During the day of the procedure, it was very smooth and relatively quick. It wasn’t painful at all. I would highly recommend Dr. Raymond to any friend of mine!

So thankful for Dr. Raymond! I was terrified of needing this root canal, as the last one I had years ago was painful and quite unpleasant. This was a totally different experience! There was/is virtually no pain, he uses state-of-the-art equipment, and his wonderful office staff made this fearful patient very comfortable and at ease. Dr. Raymond explained the procedure very well prior to coming in - removing much anxiety regarding the procedure. He is down-to-earth, professional and very knowledgeable in his field. Would highly recommend!
