I am terrified of all dental procedures. I had to have a root canal (my first) and I was referred to Dr. Haffey, which was a huge relief. I have seen him before for a consultation, and he, Anna, and his entire team were, and are, great to work with! Dr. Haffey is very professional, highly experienced, patient, kind, understanding, the procedure was over quickly, and he worked with me ahead of time to reduce my anxiety. Anna also followed up after the procedure to check on my recovery. Thank you all for a great job!

My dentist made an appointment for me to see Dr Haffey for a root canal on an emergent dying tooth. Dr Haffey and his staff were personable and efficient. Dr Haffey numbed the area around my tooth very well, then completed my root canal without causing any pain and very minimal discomfort (who really enjoys having their mouth fully open for any amount of time?) The entire procedure seemed to take barely 10 minutes, though it was probably a bit more. Throughout the procedure Dr Haffey kept up a nice stream of comments to keep me calm and happy, and even understood the few words I attempted through the mouth-dam he used to isolate my dying tooth! Since I was flying later in the day I had been concerned I'd have lots of swelling and pain, but he provided a prescription for a series of anti-inflammatory pills which I picked up shortly after my procedure was completed. Probably the most "fun" I've ever had getting a dental procedure since I was little & my teeth were perfect... I went in for a root canal. Office is cute & clean & welcoming... kind of like a boutique style office. Pier One vibes. His assistant that day (really pretty, maybe Middle Eastern, brown-skinned w/black hair,) was so kind! Super good vibes & a calm energy... which is great when you're scared of going anywhere mouth/body related, especially when there's a problem & a procedure needs to be done. She should teach a class. Dr. Haffey was fantastic! He was really fun, good banter that makes you relax a bit, kind of a happy energy (he could literally change his name to Dr. Happy & it would totally make sense lol)... he explained every single thing he was doing during the root canal... I panicked at the beginning of the job bc I thought I couldn't swallow, but he was super chill about it & explained calmly that I could... & then i did! Bahaha.
