Pediatric Dental Specialists PA

We were told my 6 year old would have to have 2 teeth pulled due to crowding. When my son heard them talking about it, he wanted to start crying. The staff was great. They immediately saw his reaction and stopped talking about it and told him not to worry. I was told they would send an email providing me with information about the tooth extraction so we knew what to expect. I never got the email even after calling back about it. We didn't have a clue what to expect going in. After it was done, we weren't given any guidelines either. I tried calling the office just to see when we could give Ibuprofen/Tylenol for pain. I had to leave a message and never got a call back. If you just need a cleaning, the staff is great with the kids. Since my kiddo will need more work done in the future, he'll be going to our family dentist from now on. My son has a great deal of anxiety about going to the dentist. The tech and dentist were very friendly, calming and understanding. He did great thanks to the wonderful staff.

Terrible Terrible Terrible!!! Front desk either has no clue what they are doing, they just flat lie to you or are extremely lazy when imputing insurance information and quoting prices. They will dime and dollar you to death-VERY unethical. Pay close attention to every detail as they will try and do things that rack up a bill. The lady in billing is an incredibly hateful woman. They are not willing to work with people when THEY screw your bill up. The overall experience is the worst I have ever had at any dental facility. I was told they would wait until my son was 14 for braces. I got a second opinion and was told that if we waited until he was 14, he would have to have an operation to fix the teeth at that point as they were in desperate need of beginning the process now, he is 11. If we were to wait until he was 14, the cost to fix his teeth would be double if not more, more painful for my son and a longer period of time in braces. Basically, more money in their pockets.
