Risas Dental and Braces - Tempe

Very caring and friendly staff who goes out of their way to ensure their patients are comfortable. I have a dental pain phobia, low pain tolerance and I let the dentist know that the electric scaler was painful, so he decided to use the manual hand piece instead and was very gentle. Did not feel any pain and they seem very understanding with people who are scared. Normally I require IV sedation for more invasive dental work due to my phobia which Risas don't have but I think if I need to have any future work done, I might just go to Risas anyway and be okay with them just using novacaine since they are caring and do whatever is needed to ease whatever pain we may feel.

I couldn’t be happier with the care I received at this office. It had been easily over 15 years since I had been to a dentist due to such an awful experience I encountered previously. I was skeptical and did not have high hopes but from the moment I walked in the door I felt welcomed. I was brought back, had my X-rays done, and in a room in less than 10 minutes. Less than 5 minutes later I met Dr Tapia and it has been nothing but smooth sailing since. He was polite, knowledgeable, and was able to make me feel comfortable. Explained in detail what needed to be done and straight to the point. His assistants just as knowledgeable and able to also bring a sense of comfort to my uneasy self. I could sit here and write a novel on how great it has been since finding this office and team but I’ll leave it be. Dr Tapia, Diana, and Monse… thank you, thank you for your care, comfort, compassion, and humor. I look forward to continuing my care with you all.

Dr. Tapia has been so great throughout the entire denture process with my husband. Everyone at Risas Dental Tempe has been extremely helpful and pleasant when anyone comes through the door. They are very well priced and want to help as many people as the can with their dental needs so they have payment plans also. I would recommend them to all.
