I'm 69 years old and this is the best dentist I've ever been to. Dr. Vlad makes sure I'm pain-free throughout the visit. The staff is also excellent from greeting me pleasantly to being attentive to my needs. The best ever! I highly recommend!

Dr. Vlad Shikhmanter has preformed the SMART Amalgam Removal Technique on two of my pre existing cavities. Dr. Vlad is SMART-certified and that made me know I was in safe hands. One of my aluminum fillings from when I was a child fractured my tooth. Dr. Vlad took the time to go over everything with me and made me feel so comfortable. Him and his staff are not only knowledgeable but also passionate in their practice. I never thought a dentist visit could be relaxing but that’s how my visits feel! Two of my four aluminum fillings have been removed and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Completely pain-free! I look forward to my future appointments and getting my other two aluminum fillings removed and no longer having mercury-containing fillings! Dr. Vlad Is hands down the best dentist in Staten Island.
