I am very happy to have found South Dental Wynwood. All the people who work there are very caring, friendly and very professional. Ramón, the office manager goes out of his way to help you with appointments by matching them according to your schedule. The doctors are excellent and they are helping me a lot to recover my teeth that were damaged by different medicines that I have had to take to treat a systemic condition. The hygienist is wonderful and very caring as are the doctors' assistants. The office in general is very clean and with very good lighting, but the working rooms are impecable. The staff sanitize rooms, including patient chairs, each time they are seen. Everything is completely sterilized and with updated equipment. I recommend this office without hesitation.

In October 2022 I did a tooth extraction there and the dentist told me I needed to place bone and membrane there, so it could heal and allow me to do an implant later. I was charged $650 for the bone and $650 for the membrane (and this last one lasted less then 24h in my mouth!). My insurance didnt cover so I ended up with this huge financial loss. I spoke with many dental clinics, professionals and with the dental insurance: all of them agreed that the amount paid was excessively high. I also got really upset with the dentist that was going to do a crown for me in December 2022: after evaluating my mouth, taking X-rays, preparing my tooth for the crown by packing a cord around the gum (procedure that hurted a lot, and the pain lasted for almost a week).. just on the day that she was supposed to place the crown she realized that "there was a hole in my tooth" and suggested to "extract my tooth".
