The Dental Specialists

Unfortunately I had a negative experience here. I was refereed for an oral surgery consult with Dr. Aslam-Pervez. During the consult he told me I would need all four of my wisdom teeth removed. I knew the referral from my dentist was only for one tooth removed so I went to another oral surgeon with higher ratings for a second opinion. At the second consult it was confirmed that just my bottom two teeth needed to be removed and there is nothing wrong with the top two (neither was infectied and they have grown in straight whereas the bottom two are impacted). It makes me feel very angry that this doctor tried to sell me on unnecessary, expensive and painful surgery that was not recommended by my dentist and was not necessary. The front desk and dental assistant staff were great and there were many appreciated precautions around COVID19.

As someone who struggles with dental anxiety, I would absolutely recommend Dr Royal. Him and his assistant Laurie made the root canal process as easy as possible, and helped do their best to keep me calm and feeling safe. They made everything as painless as possible and made sure to really explain everything to me and let me know more in-depth what my options were. Laurie made sure to find something good for me to focus on (my cat) by asking a few questions and keep my mind in a better place as the procedure began. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

My family has had a great experience with Dr. Ridgeway for pediatrics. Shannon, one of the hygienists, was amazing with my 3 year old. Edit: wrong location, this review refers to the pediatric office, which is a different suite in the same building.
