AVOID this place. Money hungry office, UNETHICAL and unprofessional practice!!! I was referred by Kaufman’s old friend so I thought I would be in good hands! First of all, they wont tell you they are not in network with your insurance, they tell you they “accept” your insurance to get you in, then they tell you your insurance won’t pay for certain treatments. They wont tell you its because they are not in network, they just tell you its not covered by insurance!!! Second, they wanted to charge me for procedures I didn’t even need such as bone graft, “tissue regeneration”, sterile surgical pack, and other junk fees. I felt something was not right and so I decided to get a second opinion and I’m so glad I did, otherwise this office would have made me pay at least $4000 MORE! I got my implant and teeth extracted by a very well known maxillofacial surgeon in Atlanta for half of what this office quoted me AND my insurance actually paid for most of it! Dr. Kauffman it the only Dentist that I trust. My dental history is virtually a Horror Story. I have have had all of my front teeth smashed, Nerve Damage, Surgeries, Braces, Teeth pulled with no Pain Killers. I'm 46 years old, and when I walk into a dentist office my blood pressure goes up, and inside I am that terrified 6 year old again. Dr. Kauffman and his staff work with me, and are patient, caring, kind, and respectful of my traumatic past. I am so grateful that I found out about them, and will gladly recommend this Practice to Anyone!
