TLC Dental - Orthodontics

This review is about Yanel, the Registered Dental Hygienist, who did my cleaning last week at the Dania location. (Everyone at TLC Dania has always been great & they've been taking care of my display bones since ~2009.) It was my 1st time meeting Yanel. He took time to talk to me & educate me on better flossing techniques, showing me diagrams as he explained the how's and why's. He was kind, encouraging, and listened to me. He was humble. I immediately liked him. Then he did the cleaning with the air tool (scaler?) - instead of the manual version of it - something only done a few times years ago & always requiring that I get laughing gas. He checked in with me frequently during the procedure and was so gentle & encouraging. The man is a magician because using air tools without giving me gas is straight up sorcery. Thanks so much, Yanel. I know you were an oral surgeon in your native country and can't imagine you won't get licensed here, but in the meantime I hope to benefit from your

i was with this place for like 2 years, they told me i would have had straight teeth by now and my teeth are nowhere near straight. my mom struggles financially and it was a lot to pay off my braces and she paid it little by little every month. not too long after my mom finally paid off the braces, they cut us off because they didnt take my insurance anymore. so not only am i stuck with the same braces they left on me, we have to go searching for some new place to either fix my teeth some more which will be another 2,000 or less dollars. and we recently went to another orthodontist to see what they can do, and they told us that my teeth shouldve BEEN straight. and that they didnt do a good job, mind u ive had POWER CHAINS and tight rubber bands for over a year.... the people there are extremely nice but i wouldve never expected this from them.. i dont want anything back from them just to share my experience so nobody else goes through this

Great service! Very attentive and addressed all of my concerns. The front desk staff is very welcoming and pleasant. The dentist was knowledgeable. The office is immaculate. I would highly recommend.
