I walked into Valley Endodontics with my guard up so high. Just for the fact that I have had bad experiences with other dentist. I didn't know how this visit would go. I was greeted by a beautiful young lady at the front desk, she really made me feel welcomed. She was very kind, helpful and that is a plus. Yet after being taken to the back for my appointment I was also greeted by Michelle of whom I just truly felt so comfortable with. She sure is very sweet, kind and talks to you like if you were someone she knew. And that to me really made my guard go down even more. As you know our teeth mean a lot to us. It is the first thing people see when we speak and just to know we need something done to them it can be a bit scary and nerve wrecking. I was nervous and she stood there and made sure I was okay. Very disappointed, can't give it a ZERO. When I called to make an appointment, I was told my insurance covered the root canal, except for a $195.00 for a scan if needed. When I got to there, they told me that a scan was needed. I hesitantly agreed as it now was a requirement not an option. After 2 and half hours, I was told I had to come back since they couldn't finish that day. I returned the next day and was told after further review, they could not complete the root canal as the tooth showed a crack and it would be best to remove it. I told them I needed to discuss with my dentist. After I left, I received a call telling me that I still owed money for today's visit. When I got back to the office they told me that it would be an additional 207.00 since they didn't complete the procedure. I paid but, not was very happy about this new fee after being told it would only be the 195.00. Feel like it was a bait and switch type of transaction. The bottom line is they didn't do anything but,

Dr. Medina was fantastic. I had very little pain during the procedure! I’ve had many done before by other doctors and his procedure was the best experience. They made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Such a great endodontist. I highly recommend him!
