Walnut Creek Dentists

This last experience was great. The hygienist was new to me, so she explained everything as she was doing it, and explained why she didn't do it in the same order as other hygienists might have done. To make it a memorable visit, she noticed that I was in a lot of pain in my left shoulder down to my wrist, so she stopped everything and asked to take my blood pressure. It would have been high of course (trips to the dentist don't qualify as rest and relaxation, and I'm sure the nerve pain in my arm was contributing) and was about to call for an ambulance. It happens that I have been having problems with C4, disc +C5, disc + C6, and the symptoms look a lot like a heart attack. I am fine for the time being, but need to do something about this nerve impingement.

Overall I've had great experiences coming here. The staff members are friendly and the service have overall been great in terms of dental health concerns and cleaning. I am a victim of medical malpractice from Kaiser Permanente so I may be a bit critical and over observant, but I have noticed a few things in today's visit. The initial cleaning started off great the polishing portion is 5 stars, but when it came to the flossing portion I would rate it 1 star. The hygienist's flossing technique was everything I was taught not to do as a child, lazily going between the teeth without fully going between the gums and skipping over the back end teeth. Not sure if I can remove flossing out of my next cleaning service but I am pretty sure it is fixed and priced into my copay and insurance... My other concerning experience was the payment process with the front desk lady. She did not greet me and the look on her face was odd and eyeing me in a weird way with her words barely audible and unfrien

I finally 'bit the bullet' and got back to taking care of things. Dr. Annoni was great, with initial assessment and laying out of a treatment plan. Later, hygienist Rebecca did my 'first in a long time' cleaning'. I appreciate the skills and support of all the staff, making the visit a comfortable and secure one. Thank you!!
