Zak Dental - Ventura

My first visit to this office was a new experience in dental care. Everyone was very polite and did their jobs well but I'm not sure if a video conference is really necessary, or cost effective. I didn't appreciate being charged $600 for that service and wish I would have been advised of this when scheduling my appointment. I would not have scheduled this appointment if I had known. I was talked into needing a crown replaced, due to a cavity at the base of this tooth. I had not been seen by the dentist when I was told this. I will go back for my follow-up appointment but I'm not sure if I will continue at this facility as they are very expensive and after reading other reviews I'm not sure if I needed this crown repaced.

I went in for a cleaning and , ended up finding out I had a cracked molar, they fixed it the same day as the cleaning. The tooth lost its numbing and I felt unbelievable pain. I felt there was a lack of communication so they were numbing my tooth at the same time they were polishing my teeth . I was a bit confused and the dentist and the dental assistant didn’t communicate to me that they would be numbing the tooth at the same time cleaning my teeth. The experience would have been much better if it would have been communicated to me the plan and what they were getting ready to do each part of the procedures. Hopefully next time it will be a better experience.

Dr. Wu is a very good Dentist. Prepping for my permanent crowns was painless and my temperary crowns fit comfortably. Omar assisted him. They are both nice young men. The front desk team is always helpful and pleasant. No complaints. ????
