A rude experience on my first visit. One of the assistants at the desk was very rude when communicating, we did the paperwork online and the records did not appear, her attitude was mean, I took my son and my husband stayed taking care of him, that did not make the assistant happy (I understand that it was not I'm a children's dentist but that doesn't make me rude to those in the waiting room), then I passed an also rude nurse who was not nice and was in a hurry and mean to do the X-rays. I give 2 stars because the Doctor apparently was the only kind and detailed in explaining the treatment in which I agreed, it even seemed strange to me that my Insurance did not cover deep cleaning. They told me that they had to do it in 2 appointments each paying $180, I asked the patient to start with the tooth that was long I had time for, later it would be complicated for me and she responded rudely "that they were the ones who didn't have time, that I I had taken a while filling out the paperwo
I can't overstate how much I recommend NOT GOING HERE. Every part of my experience with College Park Dental (the office, cleaning, referral, billing, and records) was BAD. I'm pretty sure that their business model is to 1) do more in basic checkups than insurance pays and then bill patients for overage and 2) claim that patients need work that they don't/other dentists wouldn't advise. First, they did WAY more x-rays than I have ever had in any other dental office; when I resisted, they ASSURED me it was covered by my insurance (it was NOT). Dealing with the additional balance has also been a headache and a half. The office is not set up with private rooms, but open alcoves. So, if you want to see and hear everyone elses' dental procedures, go here. I've never before left a dental appointment with teeth feeling rougher than when I went in, but I got that experience at College Park Dental. They also recommended some VERY expensive dental work (>1.5k) and tried to schedule it very aggres
Friendly and helpful receptionist. My husband and I were running late and she still found a way to squeeze us in. Dental assistant was kind and gentle with me. Dr. Majid always does a great job cleaning my teeth.
