Daylight Dental South Austin

I came to Daylight Dental a few months ago but want to share my experience. The front desk staff and everyone is very nice. I believe that is an essential part of running a business. You feel welcome.. However, when it came to the dental work, I was not happy at all. I was told I needed deep cleaning and a cavity that needed new filling. I was disappointed with the lack of care, explanation and rushed work they did. I felt like the Dentist was not careful and just grinded away at my tooth unnecessarily. I have gone to Dentists that truly work around the tooth very carefully and explain to me what they will do next so I know what to expect. Once he was done filling, I could feel very rough surface that was scraping and hurt my tongue. I asked him if he could smooth it out and he acted like I was exaggerating and almost sighed in a complain. Again, I have been to other dentists, that ask you before they put their tools down to see how you feel, to bite down and see if it's uncomfortable.

I’ve only got one smile and what better place to take care of it than at Daylight Dental. Staff were clear on the insurance they take and super approachable people. My cleaning was done thoroughly and procedures for treatments were also made clear to me. That helped ensure my problems were diagnosed and treated properly. Thank you to all at Daylight Dental

This place is super Scammy! I sent my mom alone and she came out with a 13 thousand dollar treatment plan and loan approvals . So I went to the cleaning appointment and the litterally rinsed my mom’s mouth out with water for five minutes and moved on to the next patient then left the dental assistant alone to complete the cleaning service. I am absolutely disgusted that they would take advantage of my mom’s insurance for a quick buck without showing any care towards her . This place needs to be under review . My doctor was doctor Song a tall light skin skinny Asian gentleman who bragged to his nurse that he has the new iPhone 15 and she only has the 13. I have canceled all future appointments with this “EXPRESS DENTAL RINSE OFFICE” Do not go here In the 30 minutes I was there I saw him do three cleanings. Although I will say the dental assistant was a god send seems like the Hispanic girls are the only ones with any standards around this place. Now I have to wait 6 months for her insur
