Dr. Thousand is one of those rare doctors who you can tell genuinely loves what he does. He has a passion that radiates out when discussing your dental plan/procedures. I talked with two other periodontists before I found him, and I knew I found the right one! First, I was born with a cleft lip/palate so where that birth defect was, I never had an adult tooth so I had to get an implant when I was younger. Unfortunately I did not see a dentist for two years, and I have to admit was lacking on self care so my first implant failed and I had to start all over, this time needing a bone graft. I already have very low self esteem because of my birth defect, so to have to resort to a flipper again was not easy. Dr. Thousand went above and beyond to complete my bone graft with 100% success.
