Dr. Zina A. Berry, DDS

I've always had positive experiences at Berry Good Dental. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The space is clean and well-organized. I have had my teeth cleaned ~3 times, received two fillings, and recently had my first root canal, all at Berry Good. Zina is pleasant, confident, and caring. Her work is top-notch. The reason for 4 and not 5 stars: I had a tooth that was bothering me for a while that I initially believed to be a tooth that recently had a cavity filled. I told the dental hygienist cleaning my teeth about this issue, and she mentioned an X-ray, but it never happened because the dentist suggested (a) I get a mouth guard because my grinding habit could be causing the sensitivity, and (b) I just get that tooth re-filled with a base. The day of the re-filling, I realized that the pain wasn't coming from the tooth they were preparing to re-fill, it was the one next to it. I was a patient of Dr. Berry's and had nothing but ongoing issues that lasted for years. She put a new crown on that kept falling off repeatedly in the 1st year. Come to find out, she filed my real tooth down so small that a crown could no longer hold on it. After going back to have said crown cemented on 4-5x in the first year, I was told I needed a dental implant which costed me over $5k in addition to the crown. Another crown done by Dr. Berry has since fallen off in less than 2 years time. The quality of work completed by Dr. Berry is beyond poor and leaves me questioning how she made it through dental school.

Dr. Berry and the staff at Ellinwood Dental in New Hartford, NY are outstanding! Dr. Berry has done "work" on both of my daughters and made them feel comfortable and I felt she treated them as if they were her own. "I don't do this for the money, I am here to save teeth" is what Dr. Berry told us and I certainly believe that!
