Ideal Dental Stone Oak

Front desk girls are amazing!! But that’s where it ends. I went in, needed imaging and the tech trying with two different machines (painful) to only tell me he still couldn’t get them right. He then proceeds to tell me he will be back after he does a cleaning on another person. So I’m sitting there now 30min into my appt, no imaging and waiting for someone else to be serviced. All the rooms were full and I just knew it was about to be the longest wait on top of an already sketch beginning. So I took my loss and left.

Dr. Shah. Is a very nice doctor and again very through. The dental hygienist, Sohaib, did a good in my teeth cleaning, but they try to over sell you all kinds of products that you don't need. I went to the same independent dentist for 30 years and that dentist never once tried to sell me all kinds of stuff to use while they clean your teeth. I turned it all down, but they did insist until I said yes to one of them. I called my old dentist and he told me that these new clinics try to oversell which is how they make money. I also get 3 free cleanings a year and they charged me for all of them saying I needed deep cleaning. I went to the UTSA Dental school and made an appointment with wonderful Dr. Alexander and she told me there is no such thing as deep cleaning. I just need my teeth cleaned more often as I get older, but with Ideal Dental they would not do my free cleaning without doing a deep cleaning to the tune of $600. The staff at Ideal Dental in Stone Oak are wonderful. Always friendly and warm. They’re always ready to help and answer my questions. Juliet is awesome and kind. She made me feel comfortable my entire visit. I always get in and out in a timely manner, scheduling is also always easy and efficient. Ideal Dental has treated me very well. Thank you!
