Dr. Bakos did a FANTASTIC job on two of my teeth! I was referred to her by my Periodontal Specialist, Dr. Constantin Farah, and I couldn't be Happier that I took his advice on going to see her! Dr. Bakos is very knowledgeable and thoroughly explains everything to you, prior to beginning each procedure. She also takes the time to answer any questions you have. That said, she is also VERY patient, kind, and gentle. I myself, found that these qualities made ALL the difference in the world, being that I have (or rather, I "Used To" have) extremely high anxiety & a great deal of fear, when it came to having anything done inside my mouth-- resulting from a VERY traumatic childhood experience I had at the dentist overseas, many years ago. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bakos and her staff. I live two hours away and called desperate for a root canal because no one in my area could get me in. The person on the phone was kind and compassionate and they got me in the very next morning. Dr. Bakos was great. She spent time making sure of which tooth it was and she explained the procedure in detail prior to starting and all throughout. The root canal itself was pain free and I got immediate relief. I was sent home with printed detailed instructions on how to care for the tooth after. The office even called me the next day to see how I was doing. I hope I never need another root canal but if I do I will drive the two hours to Dr. Bakos. She and her staff are wonderful.

Just had a root canal yesterday and I already feel 90% better. I'll update this after my final x-ray in a few months, but so far the experience was amazing. I never even felt the injections for the anesthesia, and they checked on me regularly to make sure I was okay. I was terrified based on anecdotal evidence provided by family members, but the overall experience so far was wonderful.
