Willamette Dental Group - Portland - Jefferson

I've been a patient of Willamette Dental since the mid-1980s. I also carry their inhouse dental insurance, which offers better coverage than most other plans. Overall, the care I've received has been excellent, with few exceptions. I've had regular care there but also crowns, an implant, periodontal work, a root canal and on occasion, even emergency services. I've been mostly seen at the Jefferson office but also at the East Portland, Weidler, and Tigard locations. It's a large practice but it seems well run with good staff.

I highly recommend this place. They were more than helpful. First the front desk folks were kind, helped explain what was needed. I had an issue with my insurance needing to be switched and they helped explained what I needed to do. They also talked to my rep to ensure everything got to them. Sometimes insurance is confusing so I was thankful for them. Making an appointment was easy, they send confirmations too. My cleaning was great, my visit great, I’ll be back for work to be done and then routine check ups. I appreciated everyone there and would recommend to anyone.

This is an absolutely awful dentist. It’s that simple. I went here for 5 years. I never missed a single appointment. Then I moved to Colorado and my new dentist asked when the last time I’d seen a professional dentist with a very concerned tone. I told him I’d been seeing a regular dentist in Portland for years. 5 cavities later and over $1500+ worth of work my teeth feel great and I couldn’t be happier with my new dentist. Seriously just do yourself a favor and go to any other dentist in Oregon. This place is just awful. Good luck.
