Beavercreek Pediatric Dentistry

The gal doing the X-ray kept talking fast, saying things a kid can not comprehend and then scaring her shoving things in her mouth without calmly talking through it. The dentist was rude, dismissive and refused to discuss treatments without sedation. Would not recommend bringing your kiddos or anyone here. So disappointing.

I would not recommend this dentist office. I brought my two children here for a routine checkup. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed how dreadful the office was displayed. Cold white walls, large signs everywhere stating no pictures, videos, etc. The receptionist was miserable acting and questioned my son's medical history. I was allowed to go to the other side of the office with them, which was nice. The dental hygienist was kind but also seemed weary when I began to give them details of once of my child's medical history. The dentist was harsh and pushy about a sedated procedure that should take place. While I understood her side of things, any sedated procedure isn't something to take lightly for a child with a complex history. We unwillingly returned a week later for a SDF procedure. The receptionist again was miserable and wanted to know why I didn't have "permission slips" from my child's doctors about receiving dental procedures. The two stars reflect how unfriendly the front desk staff are, at least the one I spoke to. She was rude and seemed to have an attitude because I had not confirmed an appointment that I received confirmation for. I received a cancellation message and then the next day a confirmation message, which is why I still brought them. She made it as if this is not part of her job to handle these types of instances. Then when I asked if it were best to reschedule, she responded with an unfriendly tone saying “unless you didn’t want them to be seen”. The intent of scheduling is to be seen, so of course that is the expectation when arriving for an appointment. I proceeded to ask what time, since I had to return to work, and she rudely says “now” and made it appear that she fit us in for an appointment we were scheduled for. Outside of that interaction, the dentist and dental assistants were very welcoming, polite, and patient with my children. This was their first appointment and they had a great
