Perspective Dental: Ashley Smitherman, DDS

Elena and Dr. Smitherman are amazing! Like most, I am not a fan of going to the dentist, but this team has changed that for me. They are warm, kind, non judge mental, and truly care about the health of their patients. The front desk team is knowledgeable and they work fast! Cannot recommended this office enough!!

I absolutely love everyone at this office. I am autistic and the acceptance here is wonderful. I went in today for what anyone else would consider a quick and easy visit since it was just for impressions. However, my bucket is completely full and I knew I could not handle hands and goo in my mouth. I explained my situation and asked for nitrous. No one rolled their eyes. No one asked, "Are you sure?" Nope, they just handed me a consent to sign, and that was it. This is patient-centered dentistry at its best.

I haaattee the dentist, but the environment here is really comfortable and the technicians and Dr. Smitherman are super communicative of what's going to happen ahead of time before they get all up in there. They did a great cleaning, and they made my filling as painless as possible. I also heard another patient near me who brought her daughter in for her first ever checkup and the way they handled an upset infant was so tender and careful. And they have some "toy-chest" items for their adult patients as well as kids, which I'd never seen before!!!!!!
